Today as part of our month of fun, we are saying good bye to some really special designs. It's time. But it's still tough to let go. Over the years I've let go of many many designs for a lot of reasons. To hard to make, didn't sell, I didn't like them....whatever the reason.
These designs hold a very special place in my heart for oh so many reasons.
The Chunky Chokers were the first designs that I ever cast. Which made it so I could continue to grow my business. Before these designs I hand fabricated my work and I had maxed out my ability to make jewelry to meet the demand for my jewelry. There are only so many hours in a day. A catalog company, Femail Creations and Signals both wanted to carry my designs in the Holiday season of 1999 and I couldn't create enough jewelry without looking into casting.
Our first 5 cast Chunky Choker Designs.
Then in the fall of 2001 a really exciting thing happened with one of the Chunky Chokers.
I watched season two of Survivor as Elisabeh Filarski (now Hasselbeck) worked to survive, all while wearing my Climb High chunky choker. It was a gift from her parents as she left on her quest to remind her of her goals.
Over night my business exploded. It forever changed the company.
But before they go... we are giving you all a great deal. Discounted. Once sold out, we will not have them again. So if you've been eyeing a design, now is your last chance. We are rolling the prices back to our 1999 price for the last of the inventory. Just $30 for a 16 inch necklace.
Go shopping now before they are gone.
So you can see our Chunky Chokers have held a special place in my heart. I've found that letting go opens us up to great new changes, new designs, new challenges and new creativity!
Is there something you've let go of that has opened you up to great new things? New possibilities?
