But....you could do more.

Over the Thanksgiving break we spent the holiday at my sister Melissa's house.   She owns Mim's bakery in Chico, California that I often talk about. 

She is usually up before the crack of dawn and on Thankgiving day when she got up she and Nikolas had a little talk.  He was sleeping on the couch outside of her room and woke as she walked past. 

Nikolas is our big snuggler in the family and asked Aunt Mim to snuggle him a bit as he woke up.  They started talking.  Melissa is a bit of a silly aunt and said to Nikolas "You're my favorite Nephew".  She neglected to say...my ONLY Nephew.  Nik thought about it for a minute and said "You're my favorite Aunt"  then he paused....  "But, you could do more".  Melissa couldn't catch her breath she was laughing so hard.  She of course asked "What more could I do?"  Nik is a smart kid, he has an Aunt that owns a bakery.... of course "You could send more cookies and cakes to me".  We have been laughing about it for months!

But it also got me thinking!  Where could I do more in my life?  This month I'm celebrating my 44th birthday....I'm working on a life list, an idea I'm borrowing from my good friend and fabulous artist Michelle Allen from Allen Designs.

The MAYHEM of moving!

Yes, I meant to make MAYHEM all capitals.  It really is a crazy thing...  You might think with 4 moves (3 home) and 1 studio move in 3 years I'd have this down after all.  But alas...it make me crazy.  It is fabulous for cleaning house and giving away things that are no longer useful or needed. It is a great new space and is just what we needed!  A bit of room to breathe! 

Here are the first pictures of the new studio.  I'll post more after we are all done setting everything up!

We are working our way through ALL of the boxes and hoping to have everything done by the weekend.  We did start production today and shipped out all of the outstanding orders.  My employees are the BEST!

Moving!

Our fabulous new location is all ready for us!  We will be moving in this week and can't wait to share some pictures with you of the new digs next week. 

Today is the last day for shipping of online retail orders until Monday the 22nd.  So please plan accordingly!

The Dainty Disc are one of my very favorite collections!  I love how cute and tiny they are...

True and funny story.  I was flipping through a catalog from a company that I sell to and saw a really cute necklace.   I thought wow that's so cute! Then I realized it was actually my very own Heal necklace.  Ok that was one of my crazy moments!  But in my own defense...it was blown up larger than life!
