So....we have been busy at the house in between Thanksgiving family time. Hopefully we will be moving in next week....
So as you can see...Nik's room is Star Wars Theme. This wall is chalkboard paint. It's going to have asteroids in the lower area and the Millenium Falcon is going into hyper space....
The lounger is going to be the control chair for the millenium falcon loft bed. And it folds down for sleepovers! The rock has the top cut off and it's getting hinges put on it for an asteroid toy box.
Kyra's room is a stone cottage set in a mystical garden.
It might not look like it, but this is going to be a stone cottage loft bed.
I went shopping at Tatouage Designs for wall murals. I'm actually really impressed with how well they turned out so far...I'll let you all know after I've put up the 7 foot tree!
Butterflies....
Finally our 50's style gameroom is coming out of storage. This room has really nice hardwood floor we don't want to mess up, so we bought some rubber interlocking floor to cover it, until the kids are older...
I'll post more pictures soon...it's coming along!
I'm a firm believer that kids are happiest with rocks, sticks, cardboard boxes
and an imagination...
I guess I'm not the only one who thinks this...
I just ordered this book for Nikolas for Christmas. During our move it's been a struggle to get Nikolas out of the big boxes long enough to pack them with stuff. After the move I've promised him LOTS of boxes.
We are still knee deep in painting and projects....next week is the move date!
