When my three children were little we always played a game with one another to demonstrate how much we loved one another. We would stretch our arms out as far as they would go and say "I love you this much". Of course I always won because my arms would stretch farther and because I am their mother. I would use the gift certicate to purchase the "I Love U This Much" necklace from the Chunky Chokers Selection as it is one of my absolute favorite pieces and it brings back so many beautiful memories.

My dream is not for myself, but for my youngest daughter Amanda. I have 5 daughters and 12 grandchildren.(6 girls and 6 boys) Amanda is 25 years old and has 3 little kids. Hunter is 6, Harrison is 5, and McKinsey Rose is 3. My son-in-law, (her husband), Wayne, is finishing up his 2nd tour of Iraq. He is a great son-in-law, a wonderful father, and a loving husband. He has a heart of gold and the killing in Iraq is really getting to him. He is in the 101st Airborne Division, and several from his unit have been killed. My dream is that he makes it home safe and sound. He is due to come home in about 5-6 weeks. We all thank God for protecting him this far, and hope he will continue to do so. Thank You!

OK...so my timing hasn't always perfect. I planned 2 contests on days when I wouldn't be ANYWHERE near a computer....I went camping to celebrate turning 40. We cut the trip a little bit early since they were expecting MORE rain. It was beautiful for the days we were there and I can't imagine a better place to turn 40 than among the giant redwoods. They are so huge and amazing that little problems seem insignificant...so turning 40 didn't seem so bad after all! I would suggest to anyone that they spend a night staring up into these magnificent trees. A trip to Calforna is not complete without seeing them.

Without question I would use the $40 toward the bracelet that says "Because life is so very precious". I have been hunting for a special gift to give our birthmom who is about to birth our precious daughter. In the midst of a difficult time in her life, she chose life for her unborn child and now she has chosen that that life be loved and cared for by my husband and I who have not been able to conceive. I am overwhelmed with her gracious heart. Please allow me to share this gift with her.

After spending several years waiting for who turned out to be Mr. Terribly Wrong,to grow up & become a responsible adult, I met & married the man of my dreams. Ok..Today I really needed some tissues for the entries... Not that they were all sad, but so heartfelt and sweet. My mom says if you don't cry every day at something wonderful...the day isn't complete. She's the type to cry at sappy commercials on TV. She says it's a southern lady kinda thing. I used to laugh at it...now I need to wear one of my own necklaces....

So back to the point, everyone is NOT making this easy on me...
So this is what struck me about todays winner....it was a HE.....yes a man. We don't get many men entering our contests...in fact...hmmm... I'll have to go check stats on that. The message was so thoughtful it reminded me of something my dad would write. And since I have an 8 year old girl I sooooo know what he means by "most of the time".

I am thankful for my wonderful wife and the blessing of a beautiful little girl!! We are a middle aged couple and 6 years ago got custody of our 6 month old granddaughter. She is an absolute delight (most of the time.LOL) and I am the luckiest man in the world to have both her and my wife.

And because he can't give just one of his girls this necklace...I'm sending him two!

Wow~ That Word! In the last 20 years I have moved 12 times-Change is something I know quite well. Some have been exciting (the dumpy college apt. or our first home as Newlyweds) and some have been almost too hard to get through(moving home when my husband left for Desert Storm while pregnant with our first son)This last move eight months ago has been one of the more difficult. We moved far away from THE BEST girlfriends I could ever wish for and I truly miss them.No more mornings at the coffee shop,laughing too loud over margaritas or shopping for clothes in sizes we wish fit ! This Change is one I am not loving. I did not realize how happy they made me and what a huge part of my life they had become until moving. Every move has taught me something and made me stronger.Change has made me see friendship a whole new way and I am grateful for it.

Gee, there are so many wonderful pieces to choose from. Last year I purchased a "believe" ring for my daughter who is a junior in college.
